The Role

We are currently seeking dental assistants with full or part-time availability from Mondays to Fridays 9am-5pm (7.5hrs per day).

Experience (especially surgical tooth extraction and implant surgery assisting experience) preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Dental assistant:

Welcome and preparation of patients;
Preparation for dental treatments;
Chair-side dental assisting;
Surgical and implant setup (experience is highly regarded but not essential);
Cross-infection control, sterilising & instrument processing;
Weekly task(restock and chair maintenance, etc)
Charting and note taking
Assist with drafting reports; and
Coordinating with the dentists for patient management;

Prior experience in the dental field is not necessary to apply. In fact, the majority of our current staff members do not have a dental background. We prioritise exceptional individuals and are more than willing to provide comprehensive training. Advantageous, but not essential:

experience in dental chair-side assisting in Australia
good command of English language
proficient in computer literacy
