The Role
We are currently seeking dental assistants with full or part-time availability from Mondays to Fridays 9am-5pm (7.5hrs per day).
Experience (especially surgical tooth extraction and implant surgery assisting experience) preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Dental assistant:
- Welcome and preparation of patients;
- Preparation for dental treatments;
- Chair-side dental assisting;
- Surgical and implant setup (experience is highly regarded but not essential);
- Cross-infection control, sterilising & instrument processing;
- Weekly task(restock and chair maintenance, etc)
- Charting and note taking
- Assist with drafting reports; and
- Coordinating with the dentists for patient management;
Who are we looking for?
Prior experience in the dental field is not necessary to apply. In fact, the majority of our current staff members do not have a dental background. We prioritise exceptional individuals and are more than willing to provide comprehensive training. Advantageous, but not essential:
- experience in dental chair-side assisting in Australia
- good command of English language
- proficient in computer literacy
