About the Role
As the Gifts in Wills Specialist, reporting to the National Engagement Manager (Church & Partnerships), you'll lead and grow Baptist World Aid’s Gifts in Wills program. You'll connect with supporters who are passionate about creating a better world, helping them turn their intentions into a lasting legacy through thoughtful stewardship and exceptional supporter care.
This role combines relationship management, program development, and estate administration. It's ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, communicating with purpose, and making a tangible contribution to long-term fundraising growth. Based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide, you'll work in a hybrid environment with occasional interstate travel.
About You
This is ideal for someone who has had experience in philanthropy and or donor relationship management looking for a bit more flexibility. We are looking for someone who has:

Alignment with our Christian mission and values of Baptist World Aid Australia
- Experience building and maintaining strong relationships in a corporate management environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a confident and caring telephone manner
- The ability to engage sensitively and professionally with older supporters and other stakeholders
- An understanding of relationship-based fundraising, donor stewardship, sales, customer engagement, or similar disciplines
- Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience delivering results while managing processes and priorities requiring attention to detail, documentation, and compliance requirements
Ideally you will have
- Experience in fundraising, planned giving, or philanthropy
- Experience working in a not-for-profit organisation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in fundraising, marketing, sales, communications, or customer relations
- Exposure or knowledge of Baptist churches, terminology, and systems
