Full Job Description

About us:

Just Keep It Fresh is a Brisbane-based automotive paint protection and detailing business located in Acacia Ridge, Queensland. The business specialises in premium vehicle protection and enhancement services, including Paint Protection Film (PPF), Ceramic Coating, Window Tinting, Paint Correction, Automotive Detailing, and Custom Clear Bra Wraps.

Our customers include new vehicle owners, prestige and performance car owners, everyday family vehicle owners, and customers who want to preserve the appearance, value and long-term condition of their vehicles. As our business relies heavily on visual presentation, online reputation, digital enquiries, customer education and service package promotion, we require a Marketing Officer to support the planning, development, implementation and review of our marketing activities across digital, social media, website, advertising and local market channels.

The Marketing Officer will work closely with the Managing Director and external marketing service providers to promote Just Keep It Fresh’s core services, strengthen brand awareness, improve enquiry generation, monitor campaign performance, and identify market opportunities in the Brisbane and South-East Queensland automotive protection market.

Job Title: Marketing Officer

Required Qualifications:

At least A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Marketing, Advertising, or a closely related field

Required Experience:

At least one year of relevant full-time equivalent experience in marketing, digital marketing, advertising coordination, campaign reporting, social media marketing, market research, or a closely related role.

Previous working experience in service-based, retail, automotive, lifestyle, luxury, or customer-facing businesses are highly preferred.

Required Skills:

1. Strong understanding of marketing principles, including customer segmentation, market positioning, brand awareness, service promotion, pricing communication and customer engagement;

2. Ability to translate technical service features, such as PPF durability, ceramic coating protection, window tinting benefits and paint correction results, into clear customer-focused marketing messages;

3. Ability to prepare clear marketing communication materials, including service descriptions, customer education content, campaign summaries and promotional messages.;

4. Ability to plan and coordinate multi-channel marketing campaigns across website, social media, digital advertising and local promotional channels;

5. Ability to analyse digital marketing data, including impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, conversion rate, enquiry trends, cost per conversion, social media engagement and website traffic;

6. Practical knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, website content systems, and digital reporting tools;

7. Ability to conduct competitor and market research within the Brisbane and South-East Queensland automotive detailing and paint protection market;

8. Ability to assist management with service package positioning, promotional strategy, product mix and pricing communication;

9. Ability to coordinate external marketing suppliers, including advertising agencies, photographers, videographers, designers and web service providers;

10. Strong attention to detail, especially in relation to brand consistency, visual presentation, campaign messaging and customer-facing content;

11. Good organisational skills and ability to manage campaign deadlines, reporting schedules, content calendars and multiple marketing priorities;

12. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to report marketing insights clearly to management.

Proposed tasks:

1. Plan, develop and organise advertising and marketing campaigns to support Just Keep It Fresh’s sales and enquiry objectives, including campaigns for Paint Protection Film, Ceramic Coating, Window Tinting, Paint Correction, Automotive Detailing and new vehicle protection packages.

2. Advise the Managing Director on advertising and marketing strategies to reach target customer groups, including new vehicle owners, prestige and performance car owners, family vehicle owners and customers seeking long-term paint protection and vehicle presentation services.

3. Coordinate marketing campaign materials and digital assets with internal staff and external providers, including campaign copy, service information, website updates and selected visual materials, within agreed timelines and budgets.

4. Research potential customer demand and market characteristics for Just Keep It Fresh’s existing and proposed services, including PPF packages, ceramic coating packages, tinting services, detailing packages, paint correction services and combined new car protection packages.

5. Support business growth and development by preparing, implementing and reviewing marketing objectives, promotional plans and digital marketing programs that improve brand visibility, customer education, enquiry generation and booking opportunities.

6. Undertake market and competitor research to identify opportunities for Just Keep It Fresh’s services, including reviewing competitor pricing, Google reviews, service packages, promotional messages, social media activity and customer-facing content within the Brisbane and South-East Queensland automotive protection market.

7. Advise management on key marketing elements, including service mix, package structure, pricing presentation, advertising messages, sales promotion ideas, customer education, online enquiry channels and digital distribution channels.

8. Monitor the performance of marketing initiatives and provide regular reports and insights to management, including monthly reports on Google Ads performance, Meta / Facebook / Instagram performance, website traffic, enquiry trends, campaign conversion data, customer engagement and top-performing services.

9. Analyse data from digital marketing campaigns and platforms, including impressions, clicks, click-through rate, conversion rate, cost per conversion, enquiry volume, social media reach, engagement, website visits and service page performance, in order to identify which campaigns and services generate the strongest customer response.

10. Recommend updates to digital content to improve online visibility, search engine performance, customer engagement and enquiry conversion, including updating service page content, refining keywords, improving landing page messages, adjusting social media captions and testing new campaign messages.

11. Liaise with external marketing agencies, photographers, videographers, designers, website providers and advertising suppliers to coordinate campaign assets, review creative materials, provide business-side feedback and ensure marketing activities are delivered consistently with Just Keep It Fresh’s brand positioning.

12. Prepare and maintain marketing work records, including marketing reports, campaign plans, competitor research documents, service package proposals, digital content plans and performance summaries.

Proposed Annual Earnings for the position:

$75,000 to $85,000 per annum, depending on skills and qualifications, plus superannuation.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
