Ecommerce Warehouse Assistant- Peak Season
As the Ecommerce Warehouse Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Warehouse Assistant to join our eCommerce team. This role involves warehouse operations and logistics support. The ideal candidate will assist with order fulfillment, inventory management, stock organisation and customer service whilst contributing to product photography, videos, and social media content to showcase our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Fulfillment Duties:
· Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organising incoming inventory.
· Pick, pack, and despatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.
· Ensure all orders are packed securely to meet brand packaging standards.
· Conduct inventory checks and stock counts to maintain accurate records.
· Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse space.
· Assist with shipping and tracking orders using eCommerce platforms and shipping software- Shopify and Starshipit.
· Operating a Walkie Stacker and lifting boxes to restock picking bays (no forklift licence required. Training provided).
· Handling customer returns, refunds, and exchanges
· Chasing parcels where they have been delayed or missing with our courier partners
· Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required
Social Media & Content Creation Duties:
· Willingness to be involved in our Social Media & Content Creation which involves being filmed or photographed for behind-the-scenes content.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a positive environment, energetic and looking for work from September to January, with a view to ongoing employment for the right candidate.
The hours will be 15-35 hours per week Monday to Friday, you may be asked to work extra hours during our Black Friday sale. The successful candidate will need to be available during school holidays.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, eCommerce, or fulfillment (preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
- Ability to multitask and balance warehouse duties in peak season
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to lift and move inventory when needed.
- Teamwork and independence-Positive proactive personality that can work in a team environment and work autonomously
- Handle customer enquiries in a warm manner.
- Available over our peak season- including the month of November, Black Friday weekend and the lead-up to Christmas, including school holidays
- You work as part of a team and can jump in when things need to be done!
- Safety awareness: Ability to abide by Workplace Health & safety procedures and practices
- Current drivers licence
