Job Opportunity: Office Manager

Salary: AUD $75,000 – $90,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus superannuation

Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent

We pride ourselves on creating a professional, customer-focused environment and are looking for a proactive and organised Office Manager to oversee our administrative operations and support the day-to-day running of our business.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 1 year of experience in office administration or office/business management (required).
Candidates with additional relevant experience will be highly regarded.
Experience in the furniture, retail, wholesale, or home furnishings industry is an advantage.
Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office management systems.
Knowledge of payroll coordination, recordkeeping, and compliance requirements is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the office.
Develop and implement office procedures to improve efficiency and support business operations.
Coordinate staff schedules, resources, and administrative requirements.
Supervise and support administrative staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
Maintain accurate business records, including inventory, customer records, HR documentation, and financial files.
Liaise with suppliers, customers, freight providers, and external service providers.
Manage procurement and ensure timely ordering of office and operational supplies.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, employment legislation, and company policies.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and staff training administration.
Support management with business planning, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
