The Opportunity
Based in Melbourne from our office in Burnley, this position is primarily responsible for delivering effective administrative support duties to the Burnley office and wider Melbourne team as directed.
This is an in office role and You would be required to operate on-site from the Burnley location. To oversee day to day management of the Veris office
- Greeting visitors, answering incoming phone calls and management of general office inbox
- Office inductions for all new employees
- Purchasing office supplies and maintaining proper stock levels
- Facilities management including catering for events
- Management of all staff events such all end of year function, leadership meetings etc
- Co-ordinate and book travel and accommodation where necessary
- Co-ordinate freight of equipment to interstate offices and sites; or arrange hire of equipment when required
- Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks including generating and assigning purchase orders as directed; receipt invoices and approve eDocs; and other tasks as required
- Organise site inductions, manage on-line client portals
- Liaison with clients, other consultants and stakeholders as required
- Adhoc support to senior staff as directed.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:
- At least 2 years of administration experience
- Experience with financial/accounting systems and methodology would be desirable
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal with the ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Excellent team playing skills and pro-active attitude
- Demonstrated experience in an Administration role
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office package: Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Competency in accounting software data entry: invoicing, job costing and procuring
- Ability to manage large volumes of concurring documents and prioritise accordingly
- Ability to maintain accurate record keeping and timely processing of records
