Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team at our Support Office. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Accounts Payable function while supporting stakeholders across the business.

What You'll Do:

As our Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring supplier payments are processed accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include:

Processing supplier invoices and expenses accurately and efficiently.
Preparing and processing creditor and staff payment runs.
Managing the Accounts Payable inbox and responding to internal and external enquiries.
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving outstanding items.
Providing remittance advice and managing supplier payment queries.
Ensuring accurate coding in line with the company chart of accounts.
Assisting with audits by collating invoices and supporting documentation.
Building positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across our campuses and Support Office.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Confidence working with confidential information.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
A collaborative approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
Experience working in a commercial environment.
Experience with Workday is advantageous.
Intermediate experience with IT and systems including financial programs, Word, Excel and outlook.
Accounting qualification (or currently studying).
Demonstrated experience providing outstanding customer and stakeholder service.
Experience with reconciliations and financial data processing.
