Looking for an Accounts Payable role where you can take ownership of the full AP process rather than simply processing invoices?
Levande is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Sydney Finance team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you'll play an important role in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time while supporting the financial operations of a national retirement living organisation.
You'll work across the complete accounts payable function, partnering with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries, maintain accurate records, support month-end activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
In this role you'll:
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile supplier statements and maintain vendor records
- Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to supplier enquiries
- Support month-end and year-end activities, including accruals and reconciliations
- Prepare Accounts Payable reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency
- Build strong working relationships across Finance and the wider business
You'll bring:
- A minimum of three years' Accounts Payable experience
- Experience working in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be highly regarded.
