SKG Services is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team in Sydney. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across multiple entities, ensuring suppliers and service providers are paid accurately and on time.

About the Role
As our Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for managing the complete accounts payable function while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across multiple entities.
- Process and reconcile supplier and service provider invoices.
- Review invoices to ensure approvals, budgets and coding are accurate.
- Process weekly and monthly payment runs.
- Process staff expense reimbursements.
- Maintain creditor records and supplier files.
- Resolve supplier and invoice queries promptly.
- Liaise with operational teams regarding budgets and purchase information.
- Issue remittances and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Prepare weekly creditor reports.
- Assist with TPAR reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and document control.
- Support the Finance Manager and Financial Controller as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an Accounts Payable Officer, Senior Accounts Payable Officer, or Accounts Payable Supervisor role.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end accounts payable processes within a high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of banking processes, payment runs, cashflow management, and creditor reconciliations.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience using accounting and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Australian Permanent Resident, Australian Citizen, or holder of unrestricted full working rights.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $78,000.00 per year
