Saints Kitchen, established in 2019, is a casual dining restaurant located in Salisbury Plains, South Australia. Bringing city dining trends to the North of Adelaide, Saints Kitchen pride itself on its unique food style, funky vibes and friendly customer service.

Family-owned and run, Saints Kitchen have created a space for all people to gather over a meal, wine or cocktail in a fun environment.

Architecturally designed, our modern decor has a cool and stylish feel matching the innovative menu. Our menu aims to challenge the developing food trends from all around the world. Saints Kitchen’s food is sure to be a delight for your taste buds and always Instagram-ready.

About the Role:

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for genuine people who are keen for an opportunity to build their career and want to be part of a dynamic team who will help support you and give you all the help that you ask for, to get you to where you want to be!

Key Responsibilities:

o Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food items, including meats, vegetables, and desserts.

o Following recipes and portion control standards to maintain consistency and quality.

o Operating kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers safely and efficiently.

o Assist in preparing and plating dishes attractively for service.

o Adhering to workplace health and safety regulations, including safe food handling procedures.

o Assisting with menu planning and food preparation for special dietary requirements.

o Collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

o Work closely with and take instructions from the Head Chef.

To be the successful in joining our team you will have:

At least 2 years of relevant experience in fast paced kitchen

At least AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

Have previous experience in the industry or in a similar role

Be self-motivated, creative, confident and enthusiastic

Be a team player

Strong culinary, food safety, and nutrition knowledge.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to maintain a continual high standard of food quality and presentation

Strong adherence to food standards, operating procedures, WHS and regulatory guidelines

Must be available across a full 7-day roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
