About the Role:
We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
o Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food items, including meats, vegetables, and desserts.
o Following recipes and portion control standards to maintain consistency and quality.
o Operating kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers safely and efficiently.
o Assist in preparing and plating dishes attractively for service.
o Adhering to workplace health and safety regulations, including safe food handling procedures.
o Assisting with menu planning and food preparation for special dietary requirements.
o Collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
o Work closely with and take instructions from the Head Chef.
To be the successful in joining our team you will have:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in fast paced kitchen
At least AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Have previous experience in the industry or in a similar role
Be self-motivated, creative, confident and enthusiastic
Be a team player
Strong culinary, food safety, and nutrition knowledge.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to maintain a continual high standard of food quality and presentation
Strong adherence to food standards, operating procedures, WHS and regulatory guidelines
Must be available across a full 7-day roster including nights, weekends and public holidays

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
