This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, maintaining records, and collaborating with various departments to support financial operations.Key responsibilitiesPayment Processing: <ul><li>Review and process invoices related to workers' compensation claims.</li><li>Ensure timely payment to medical providers, legal representatives, and other related entities.</li></ul>Record Keeping: <ul><li>Maintain accurate records of all transactions and payments associated with workers' compensation accounts.</li><li>Prepare and reconcile monthly reports on accounts payable activities.</li></ul>Compliance: <ul><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations regarding workers' compensation payments.</li><li>Assist in the audit process by providing necessary documentation and reports.</li></ul>Communication: <ul><li>Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and enquiries.</li></ul>Data Management: <ul><li>Utilise claims management software to enter, track, and report on accounts payable activities.</li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency.</li></ul>The skills you’ll bringTo be successful in this role you should have: Education: <ul><li>High school certificate or above. </li></ul>Experience: <ul><li>Experience in accounts payable in a workers' compensation or insurance environment is desirable but not mandatory. </li></ul>Skills: <ul><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Excellent organisational and time management skills. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using claims management systems. </li></ul>Competencies:<ul><li>Analytical Skills: Ability to assess complex information and make informed decisions.</li><li>Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with a focus on accuracy.</li><li>Problem-solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.</li></ul>Our culture and benefitsDXC is committed to building better futures for our customers, colleagues, environment, and communities.
