About the role

We are seeking an Operational Support Officer to join our Fleet & Depot Operations team at Rydalmere. This role provides essential administrative and customer service support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Operations Centre.

In this role you will:

Provide administrative support to managers and operational staff
Manage records in OneCouncil (TechOne), including monitoring, assigning, updating, and closing requests
Prepare documents such as correspondence, meeting minutes, and memos
Conduct workplace and safety inductions for new employees
Complete timecard registrations for new staff
Act as first point of contact for internal and external customer enquiries
Manage office supplies, stationery, and servicing of equipment
Maintain staff kitchen facilities and amenities
Support the Local Emergency Management Officer (LEMO) with administration tasks

We offer a competitive salary from $81,327.89 to $89,563.01 plus 12% superannuation.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and organised team player with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. The successful candidate will also bring:

Certificate III in Business/Administration or equivalent experience
Previous experience in a similar operational support role
Background in customer-focused, service-driven organisations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
Experience using OneCouncil applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
