Let’s talk about the opportunity
The purpose of this role is to examine and review the laws governing, and the practices and procedures of NSW public authorities and public officials, and to educate and advise public officials with a view to reducing the likelihood of corrupt conduct and to promote the integrity and good repute of public administration.
This is a permanent full-time position.
The annual starting salary is $155,773, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation (currently 12%) and annual leave loading (currently 17.5%).
Essential requirements
Candidates will be assessed against the following requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in management, public administration, organisational development, law, accounting/auditing, psychology and/or a related discipline.
- Experience in management, risk management, design of internal controls, compliance, research, public speaking, education and/or business organisational analysis.
- A good knowledge and understanding of the machinery of government, legislative and policy processes. Legal qualifications are not required but some knowledge of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988 and the Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022 is desirable.
- Developed and capable research and analytical skills.
- Developed and capable planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Developed verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with people of diverse background, occupation and seniority, both internal and external to the Commission.
- A current NSW driver licence is desirable and the role requires occasional travel.
