About the role

We are currently looking for a Group Property Manager who shall be responsible for the operational management and performance of DGL Group’s property portfolio across a defined region or portfolio. The properties to be managed are industrial assets. Prior experience in industrial property management is therefore highly preferred.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day property management tasks of owned and leased properties within the assigned portfolio, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective facility performance.
Support the implementation of the Group-wide property strategy by delivering on operational objectives and performance targets.
Administer lease agreements including renewals, rent reviews, and terminations in coordination with the Group Property Manager.
Obtain and maintain all required licences, certifications, and accreditations relevant to property management, in accordance with the requirements of applicable regulatory bodies, industry standards, and legislation across relevant jurisdictions.
Coordinate and oversee reactive and planned maintenance across the portfolio, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Assist in the preparation of property budgets, forecasts, and reporting. Monitor and control costs and support initiatives to enhance value and reduce expenditure.
Work closely with site managers, contractors, and service providers to ensure consistent service delivery and adherence to DGL standards.
Assist with property-related compliance matters, ensuring that assets meet legal, environmental, and safety obligations.
Support capital works projects including contractor engagement, site inspections, and reporting.
Maintain accurate property records and documentation, including lease registers, maintenance logs, and compliance certificates.
Provide regular reporting and recommendations to the Group Property Manager regarding lease opportunities, site performance, and risk mitigation.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, landlords, agents, and third-party suppliers.
Contribute to business case development and due diligence activities for acquisitions or disposals, as required.

About you

Here are the skills and attributes you'll need to be considered for the role.

Demonstrated experience in property or facilities management, preferably across a multi-site portfolio.
Working knowledge of lease administration, property operations, maintenance coordination, and compliance.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Commercial acumen with experience in budget tracking, contractor management, and service-level monitoring.
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licences, certifications, and accreditations required for property management, in accordance with relevant legislation, regulatory bodies, and industry standards.
High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
Understanding of relevant property legislation and compliance requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Property, Facilities Management, or a related field
