FULL TIME Cook Required

Full time – 38 hours per week – $78,000–$80,000 per year plus Super

Nieo's Grille is looking for a Full-Time qualified Cook to join our team.

Nieo's Grille is a busy and well-established casual dining restaurant located in Earlwood, NSW. We are committed to serving high-quality food with excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. We pride ourselves on consistency, fresh ingredients, and creating an enjoyable dining experience for every guest.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, commitment to food quality, and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods while carrying out the following tasks:

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Regulate and monitor temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers, and other cooking equipment.
Season, portion and plate meals with appropriate sauces, garnishes and accompaniments.
Examine food items to ensure freshness, quality and compliance with food safety standards.
Store food correctly in temperature-controlled facilities in accordance with food safety regulations.
Prepare meals to accommodate dietary requirements and customer requests where required.
Assist with menu planning, estimating food requirements and supporting the training of junior kitchen staff as directed.

Skills

A minimum of one year of related work experience.
Hands-on experience operating commercial kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, ovens and chargrills.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Working Hours: 38 hours per week

Work Experience: At least one year of relevant experience.

Education/Skills

Chef/Cook: Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality (preferred).

Salary: $78,000–$80,000 per annum + Superannuation
