FULL TIME Cook Required

Nieo's Grille is looking for a Full-Time qualified Cook to join our team.
Nieo's Grille is a busy and well-established casual dining restaurant located in Earlwood, NSW. We are committed to serving high-quality food with excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. We pride ourselves on consistency, fresh ingredients, and creating an enjoyable dining experience for every guest.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, commitment to food quality, and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods while carrying out the following tasks:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Regulate and monitor temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers, and other cooking equipment.
- Season, portion and plate meals with appropriate sauces, garnishes and accompaniments.
- Examine food items to ensure freshness, quality and compliance with food safety standards.
- Store food correctly in temperature-controlled facilities in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Prepare meals to accommodate dietary requirements and customer requests where required.
- Assist with menu planning, estimating food requirements and supporting the training of junior kitchen staff as directed.
Skills
- A minimum of one year of related work experience.
- Hands-on experience operating commercial kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, ovens and chargrills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Working Hours: 38 hours per week
Work Experience: At least one year of relevant experience.
Education/Skills
Chef/Cook: Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality (preferred).
Salary: $78,000–$80,000 per annum + Superannuation
