We are looking for applications from experienced (having minimum 1-2 years Full timework experience) and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. A closely relevant qualification is also required.
The ideal candidate/s will also have the followings:
· Skills to prepare, cook and season food items in a timely manner as per prescribed guidelines and menu.
· Adhere to the food safety standards and occupational health & safety rules and regulations.
· Ensure full implementation of HACCP code of practice.
· Have strong understanding of produce, stock control, culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.
· Ability to train junior kitchen staffs as and when needed.
· Ability to work in a kitchen team environment with a positive attitude.
· Commitment to an ongoing role within a great team.
· A passion for creative, fresh food and ambition to learn new techniques and food styles.
· Demonstrate superior recipe knowledge for every item on the restaurant’s menu.
· Maintain high standards in food and workplace safety.
· Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Maintain high standards and lead by example.
