APC Storage Solutions Pty Ltd is a proudly Australian-owned business and one of Australia's leading manufacturers of office storage systems and warehouse storage solutions. Our custom warehouse storage solutions include pallet racking, industrial racking, raised storage areas, cantilever racking, storage shelving systems, and storage cages.

Our office storage solutions are designed to fit aesthetically into any office environment. All office storage systems provide easy access to stored documents and products without consuming unnecessary floor space. Our office solutions include office shelving, mobile shelving units, filing cabinets, workstation cabinets, and lockers.

Role:

As an Occupational Health and Safety Adviser, you will:

Develop, implement, and evaluate risk management policies and workplace safety programs to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
Monitor and audit the workplace environment to identify hazards and ensure safe working conditions.
Train and educate employees on occupational health and safety procedures, policies, and legislation.
Record, investigate, and report on workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections to proactively manage workplace risks.
Advise management on legislative changes, safety standards, and best practices to improve the safety culture.
Prepare and maintain detailed safety documentation, including safety manuals, reports, and regulatory submissions.
Collaborate with external agencies and regulatory bodies as needed to ensure compliance.
Assist in the development and coordination of emergency response plans and procedures.
Support return-to-work programs and rehabilitation for injured employees.
Facilitate workplace safety committees and promote employee engagement in health and safety initiatives.

Skills and Work Experience Requirements:

Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (Degree, Diploma, or Certificate IV).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an occupational health and safety advisory role.
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, codes of practice, and compliance requirements.
Experience in conducting workplace audits, risk assessments, and safety training.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to prepare clear and comprehensive reports and documentation.
First Aid Certificate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
