About the Role
The Reddrop Group is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resource Adviser to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will advise management and staff on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation, coordinate recruitment and onboarding, maintain employee records, and support performance management, employee relations and training across our growing network of stores. Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on human resource policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and review of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant workplace laws and regulations.
- Coordinate and support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, including drafting job advertisements, screening applicants, and arranging interviews.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, and HR Information Systems while ensuring the confidentiality of personnel information.
- Support the performance management process, including assisting managers with appraisals, feedback, and development plans.
- Advise on and assist with employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
- Coordinate staff training and professional development activities to support organisational needs.
- Assist with remuneration reviews, leave administration and employee entitlements in accordance with company policies and relevant Modern Awards.
- Monitor and promote workplace health and safety practices and assist in ensuring compliance with WHS obligations.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and correspondence for management as required.
- Assist with workforce planning, retention strategies, employee engagement and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and best practice initiatives.
- Support workers compensation claims, workplace injury management and return-to-work programs by liaising with employees, managers, insurers and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all HR practices comply with the Fair Work Act 2009, National Employment Standards, and relevant anti-discrimination and privacy legislation.
Skills & Experience Required
- At least one year's experience in a Human Resource Adviser, Human Resource Officer or a similar human resources role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act 2009 and National Employment Standards.
- Experience working within the retail, supermarket, FMCG or hospitality industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to advise and collaborate with management and staff at all levels.
- Experience managing workers compensation and return-to-work programs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Well-developed organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Human Resource Management, Business, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
