Full Job Description

Axis Appliance Repair is looking for an administrator to join our small but dynamic team. This role has varied tasks where no two days are the same.

We are an appliance repair business based in Thomastown. This role requires someone who is proactive & not reactive, efficient, organised and a communication star! Reporting to the office co-ordinator, you will need to liaise effectively with our technicians, customers, tradespeople and property managers to ensure job flows are completed in a timely manner.

The right person for this role must be a self-starter with high standards, loves systems & structure, quick with decision making, thrives with multitasking, comfortable with competing demands whilst being calm & professional.

A willingness to grow and learn with the business is also very desirable. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted

About the role:

Manage incoming customer enquiries via phone and email
Liaise with property managers, tenants, external customers and technicians
Schedule and coordinate technician jobs
Support daily operational activities and administrative processes
Monitor job progress and assist with customer updates and communication
Ensure accurate job information, notes and updates are recorded
Customer invoicing (xero)
Parts ordering and monitoring
Assist the team with operational and customer service tasks as required

The desired candidate will have:

Previous experience in administration, customer service, office coordination, operations support or a similar role
Job scheduling experience advantageous but not essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Confident communicator who enjoys dealing with customers, property managers, tenants and tradespeople
Practical, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
High attention to detail and strong administrative skills
Experience within trade services, maintenance, property management or a related industry will be highly regarded
Australian work rights required for this position

What we offer:

Part-Time or Full-Time Position
Supportive small team
Immediate start available for the right candidate

The set hours are negotiable with a minimum of 10 hours per week. Advertised salary will be pro-rata. Role can suit school hours

Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
