Job Description

You’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our patient services and front-of-house administration, working closely with patients, families and our clinical teams.

Patient & Customer Service:

Provide a professional, compassionate and customer-focused service to patients, carers, clinicians and visitors.
Explain financial consent requirements to patients in a clear and empathetic manner.
Respond to patient and stakeholder enquiries promptly and accurately, ensuring issues are managed through to resolution.
Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support an exceptional patient experience.

Coordinate administrative processes in accordance with organisational requirements.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring a high level of attention to detail and data integrity.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and within required timeframes.
Identify, investigate and resolve administrative issues using sound judgement and logical problem-solving skills.
Contribute to the review and improvement of administrative processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Teamwork & Collaboration:

Work collaboratively as a positive and supportive team member while also demonstrating the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Contribute to a culture of accountability, professionalism, continuous improvement and patient-centred care.
Share knowledge, support colleagues and actively participate in team meetings and organisational initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Exceptional customer service, communication skills and empathy when dealing with patients
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
The ability to take ownership of responsibilities and follow tasks through to completion.
Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong logical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Experience communicating sensitive or complex information, including financial consent and billing processes, in a clear and professional manner.
A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing practical solutions.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and patient management systems
Ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-paced environment
