Job Description

An 80-year group, COBRA promotes its own efficient business model, the result of the combination of decentralization, geographical diversification and technical specialization of more than 20,000 professionals in more than 43 countries. In this way, it offers a wide range of services throughout the value chain of projects, adapted to each sector and to the scope of the contract required by our clients, both public and private. Cobra is divided into four main sectors of activity, Networks, Specialised installations, integrated projects and concession assets.

ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by Energy Co to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.

The Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Transmission Project will build new high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and supporting infrastructure to transfer power generated by solar and wind projects to electricity consumers. The new infrastructure is expected to be operational by 2028 and will initially unlock up to 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity.

The project consists of 90km of 500kV overhead transmission lines and 150 km of 330kV transmission lines for generator connections, stretching from Elong Elong in the west through to Barigan Creek in the east, via an energy hub at Merotherie.

Key Responsibilities

We're looking for a Site Administrator to join our Energy Hubs team. You'll be the person who keeps the site office running: supporting the management team, the construction crews, and the HR and safety advisors, and making sure the day-to-day details are handled so the project keeps moving.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Providing administrative support to the management team and to other employees as required.
Supporting the construction team with cost tracking, production tracking and dockets management, using Excel and ACEREZ D&C's proposed cost control system.
Assisting HR and Safety Advisors with employee inductions, information packs and project support.
Setting up project meetings and organising catering.
Interfacing professionally with members of the public and internal stakeholders.
Working to all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and environmental processes, practices and procedures.
Managing client and customer interfaces so issues are resolved on site rather than escalated.
Communicating clearly on project progress.
Looking after the office environment and general housekeeping.
Keeping A4 and A3 paper stocked at every printer, checking trays each morning and evening, and keeping print areas tidy and clear of uncollected jobs.
Monitoring office stationery levels and reordering as required.
Checking, running and emptying dishwashers, cleaning the coffee machine daily and topping up kitchen supplies.

Required Skills and Competencies

About You

You're organised, self-directed and comfortable juggling competing priorities in a busy site office. You communicate clearly with everyone from crews and managers to visitors and stakeholders, and you notice the small details that keep a site running smoothly.

2–3 years' experience in an administrative role.
Competent with Microsoft Office and good general computer skills.
Current driver licence and your own reliable vehicle.

Site Administrators are site based – Monday to Friday DIDO approx. 8.00am to 5pm at Barrigan Creek, next to the Wollar Solar Farm
