As Head of Community Aged Care, you will lead the strategic, operational and financial performance of AnglicareSA’s Community Aged Care services. This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape services that support older people to live well, while ensuring our programs remain sustainable, responsive and aligned with the needs of customers, families, funders and communities.
You will bring together strategy, service delivery, people leadership and commercial discipline to drive growth and continuous improvement. With a strong focus on quality, compliance and customer outcomes, you will lead a diverse portfolio through sector change, service reform and future-focused growth.
This role is about more than managing operations. It is about using your influence, judgement and leadership to strengthen services that matter deeply to South Australians.
You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

Leading the strategy and growth of Community Aged Care services in line with AnglicareSA’s strategic direction.

Overseeing operational and financial performance, including budgets, revenue growth, service sustainability and portfolio KPIs.

Driving high-quality, person-centred services that meet customer needs, funding requirements, aged care standards and legislative obligations.

Leading and supporting senior managers and operational teams to build a positive, accountable and high-performing culture.

Championing change, continuous improvement, risk management and service innovation across the portfolio.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
-
Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Business Administration, Community Services, Social Services or equivalent senior leadership experience.
-
Extensive senior leadership experience, ideally within aged care, community services, health or a related human services environment.
-
Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, financial performance, growth targets and sustainable service delivery.
-
Demonstrated experience leading complex operations, quality, risk, compliance and change in a regulated service environment.
-
Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement and people leadership skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
We would also love you to have:

Strong knowledge of community aged care, aged care reforms, customer-directed care and the needs of older people from diverse backgrounds.

Experience working with government, funders, peak bodies, accreditation bodies or sector partners.

A track record of leading multidisciplinary teams through growth, transformation or service redesign.

Confidence representing services externally through advocacy, networking, public speaking or sector engagement.

A leadership style grounded in compassion, integrity, accountability and a genuine commitment to doing good.
