Casual Physiotherapy Practice Receptionist

Waterfront Physiotherapy & Pilates is seeking a friendly, reliable and professional Casual Practice Receptionist to join our team at our practice in Wentworth Point (Sydney Olympic Park area).

About the role

At present, we are looking to fill a Thursday morning shift from 8:30am–11:30am.

As our reception team consists primarily of university students, staff availability can vary throughout the year depending on university timetables. We are currently awaiting confirmation of other staff timetables and, as a result, additional shifts may become available.

This is a casual position, so some flexibility in your availability is required. The days and hours available may change at different times throughout the year. We also value team members who are able to assist with covering other shifts when colleagues are unavailable due to leave, university commitments or other circumstances.

Our practice provides quality Physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates and rehabilitative services, including private consultations and group classes within our fully equipped clinical Pilates studio.

About you

The successful applicant will have:

A friendly, positive and approachable demeanour
Professional presentation and manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management and organisational skills
The ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
Confidence working independently as well as part of a team
The ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly
Good computer skills and confidence using practice management systems
Flexibility to work additional hours or cover other shifts when required
Previous experience in health administration is an advantage, but not essential
Experience using FRONTDESK physiotherapy practice management software is an advantage, but not essential, as training will be provided

Duties include

Answering phone and email enquiries
Scheduling and managing patient appointments
Greeting and assisting patients
Processing patient payments, invoicing and receipts
General administration and office duties, including banking, data entry, account management, scanning and filing
Insurance, CTP and Workers Compensation administration
General practice cleaning and maintaining a clean, welcoming reception environment
