At The Foxtel Group, we’re bringing television and streaming to Australians like never before. Our mission is to provide Australia’s best value streamed and live sport, movies, drama, news and entertainment experience, and we are currently recruiting a Digital Video Producer to join our Fox Sports Editorial team.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Video, you will be responsible for conceiving, crafting and executing the delivery of Fox Sports video content for foxsports.com.au and News Corp Network Sport. This role will see you producing exclusive, original and high-quality content that supports Fox Sports’ mantra as Australia’s sports entertainment leader taking fans closer to the game.

You will create storytelling concepts, producing quality journalism and engaging video content across Fox Sports’ digital platforms including, but not limited to, our desktop and mobile sites, apps, and IPTV. This will set the tone for sports video across multiple distribution platforms ensuring a continuity of experience that is entertaining, informative and editorially sound.

You will be responsible for:

Produce high quality, bespoke video content across all digital platforms to differentiate Fox Sports from competing news outlets
Formulate, write, voice, present, edit, film and publish material for digital distribution across both Fox Sports and Network Sport platforms, and population of Fox Sports social media channels
Apply keen eye for detail to identify key moments or trends in Live Sport and utilise Fox Sports’ archive resources to create socially targeted content, keeping a finger on the pulse.
Publish video content to Fox Sports and Network Sport digital platforms, applying editorial judgement to headlines, metadata, thumbnails and categorisation
Work in conjunction with the broader team to ensure video content is well promoted and displayed across all digital and social platforms and to improve speed to screen processes
Monitor Fox Sports 500 bulletins and Fox Sports magazine shows for content complementary to Digital’s editorial content
Coordinate with Fox Sports and Network Sport journalists in providing video to complement written content and support digital live coverage with near-live video and imagery
Be an integral player in editorial discussions and regularly promote original ideas

About your experience

1 years + with non-linear video editing and production systems, ideally Avid or Premiere Pro.
Good knowledge of video editing techniques
Experience with voiceover delivery and script-writing skills.
An understanding of digital content delivery and workflows
Experience as a camera operator / setting up shoots highly desirable
Experience in creating slick / viral reels for social platforms highly desirable
Understanding of social media engagement with sports content
Knowledge and passion of Australian (particularly NRL, AFL, Cricket) and international sports – we believe that knowing the product and the customer is key to success in this role
Must be available Monday to Sunday rotating roster, including mornings and nights
