We are looking for an energetic, commercially minded and collaborative Responsible Business and ESG Consultant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a broad, cross-functional role combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. Reporting directly to the Head of Responsible Business and ESG, you will work closely with the firm’s ESG partners to identify growth opportunities, strengthen client relationships and position the practice at the forefront of emerging responsible business and ESG issues.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop opportunities to drive revenue growth across the Responsible Business and ESG practice
- Build strong internal and external networks to support client and practice development
- Monitor emerging industry trends and translate them into relevant insights and opportunities for clients
- Develop compelling ESG and responsible business content, presentations, podcasts and thought leadership
- Lead content development for ESG-related events and support delivery from concept through to completion
- Maintain a coordinated calendar of internal and external profiling initiatives
- Conduct in-depth research to support the team’s advice to clients
- Connect opportunities across practices, clients and the broader firm to help secure new mandates
- Champion collaboration, initiative and consistently high-quality deliver
About you
You will be a proactive and curious professional who can confidently move between research, content development, stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A strong understanding of sustainability and ESG issues, including business and human rights
- Excellent research skills and the ability to identify the commercial and practical relevance of emerging issues
- Strong project management, organisation and prioritisation capabilities
- The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A continuous improvement mindset and a high level of personal ownership
- The ability to work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively
