Salary: AUD $82,000 – $85,000 per annum

About the Role

PANNU TRANSPORT SA is seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the business, ensure efficient office management, support operational teams, and maintain compliance with company policies and relevant Australian legislation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee the daily administrative operations of the office.
Develop, review, and improve office procedures, systems, and administrative standards to enhance operational efficiency.
Allocate office resources, workspace, equipment, and administrative support to ensure smooth business operations.
Supervise, assign, and monitor the work performance of administrative staff.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, staff training, performance management, and employee development.
Coordinate personnel activities, including leave management, payroll administration, staff records, and scheduling.
Maintain accurate office records, business documentation, and confidential files.
Prepare reports, correspondence, operational documents, and management presentations as required.
Manage office budgets, invoices, accounts payable and receivable, and other administrative financial records.
Liaise with external suppliers, contractors, customers, and service providers. Monitor office expenditure and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
Ensure office equipment, IT systems, and office facilities are properly maintained and operational.
Manage office inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available at all times.
Implement and monitor document control systems and record management procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies, employment legislation, privacy requirements, and relevant government regulations.
Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies and promote a safe working environment.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
Support management in implementing business improvement initiatives and operational projects.
Respond promptly to administrative issues and provide effective solutions to support business operations.
Foster a professional, collaborative, and customer-focused workplace environment.

Minimum Requirements

AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; OR
At least three (3) years of relevant full-time work experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
High level of written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office management systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Sound knowledge of Australian workplace practices, employment legislation, and Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.

What We Offer

Permanent Full-Time employment (minimum 38 hours per week). Annual salary of AUD $82,000 – $85,000.
