About the Role

This isn't your typical Office Manager role.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being the person who keeps everything running seamlessly. Someone who notices the details others miss, anticipates problems before they arise, and takes pride in creating an environment where people can do their best work.

As our Office Operations & Experience Manager, you'll own the day-to-day operations of our Melbourne office while supporting our satellite offices and remote employees. You'll be responsible for everything from facilities, suppliers and budgets through to employee experience, events and workplace initiatives.

One day you might be negotiating with building management, reviewing operational budgets with Finance or improving workplace processes. The next, you'll be coordinating an all-company event, welcoming new employees or solving an unexpected operational challenge.

Success in this role comes from thinking ahead rather than reacting. You'll thrive if you're naturally organised, commercially minded, highly proactive and comfortable making decisions independently. You won't be someone who waits for a checklist - you'll already be working on tomorrow's priorities while today's are running smoothly.

You'll work closely with senior leaders across the business who have high expectations and value attention to detail. The ability to anticipate needs, communicate proactively and consistently deliver a high standard of execution will be essential.

This role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and requires you to work from our Melbourne CBD office 3- 4 days per week.

What You'll Do

Own Workplace Operations

Take end-to-end ownership of the daily operations of our Melbourne office, ensuring everything runs smoothly without requiring direction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with building management, contractors, suppliers and service providers.
Proactively identify operational improvements and implement better ways of working.
Ensure our workplace consistently reflects the high standards we expect for both employees and visitors.
Manage office supplies, catering, equipment, facilities and workplace resources to ensure nothing is overlooked.

Deliver Exceptional Workplace Experiences

Design and deliver engaging employee events, celebrations and recognition initiatives throughout the year.
Partner with People Operations to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience for new employees.
Champion initiatives that promote inclusion, wellbeing and connection across our teams.
Continuously seek feedback and measure the success of workplace initiatives to improve employee experience.

Financial & Operational Planning

Own the workplace operating budget, partnering closely with Finance to forecast expenditure, monitor costs and manage invoices.
Ensure events and workplace initiatives deliver great experiences while remaining commercially responsible.
Manage supplier contracts and identify opportunities to improve value and efficiency.

Partner Across the Business

Build trusted relationships with leaders across the business to understand upcoming priorities and anticipate operational requirements.
Support organisational change initiatives through effective planning, communication and execution.
Coordinate workplace support for satellite offices and remote employees where required.

Remains calm, adaptable and solutions-focused when priorities change.
