Sales Executive (Progression to Event Director)
Newtown, Sydney (Office-Based)
Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 5:30pm
$56,000 – $60,000 base salary + super + uncapped commission
Realistic Year 1 OTE: $100,000 – $150,000

The Opportunity

This is more than a sales role - it’s a genuine career accelerator.

As a Sales Executive, you’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle, selling exhibition space and sponsorship packages to businesses looking to grow their brand and reach new customers. You’ll join a high-performance sales environment with clear progression routes and the opportunity to fast-track your career toward senior leadership positions, including Event Director.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing the full sales process from lead generation through to closing deals
Selling exhibition stands and sponsorship opportunities across leading business events
Building strong relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers
Engaging with clients via phone, email, LinkedIn, and virtual meetings
Understanding client objectives and delivering tailored event solutions
Developing and managing a high-value sales pipeline
Collaborating closely with marketing, operations, and event teams
Attending live events and closing deals onsite

Previous sales experience is advantageous, but not essential — full training and ongoing development will be provided for the right candidate.
