About the Role
Aje Lifestyle is seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Wholesale Sales Executive to join our team. Reporting into the Head of Global Wholesale, this role is responsible for managing our wholesale accounts across Australia’s most prominent domestic retail partners spanning both the Aje Athletica and Aje Studio brand divisions, as well as any future brand partners acquired by Aje Lifestyle.
As the primary point of contact for these key accounts, you will drive end-to-end account management, ensuring seamless communication, exceptional brand representation, and the consistent delivery of commercial outcomes across a portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for domestic retail partners and any future brand partners acquired by Aje Lifestyle, across Aje Athletica and Aje Studio, acting as a key brand ambassador for Aje Lifestyle within the domestic wholesale market
- Manage accounts end-to-end, from initial ranging discussions through to final delivery and partner reporting
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at both partner organisations, including buying teams and in-store managers
- Act as a strategic communicator, ensuring both brand partners are consistently aligned on Aje’s vision, product strategy, brand storytelling and seasonal direction
- Lead weekly trade meetings with domestic buying teams, providing regular updates on trade performance, ATS (Available to Sell), and stock movements
- Conduct regular store visits to domestic locations to maintain strong in-store relationships, support staff performance and uphold brand standards
- Oversee pop-ups and in-store activations, ensuring seamless, on-brand execution across all retail environments
Sales & Commercial Performance
- Own and grow the wholesale sales portfolio
- Drive sell-through performance and identify opportunities to grow the business with each partner
- Lead buy appointments to present new collections in line with brand strategy and commercial objectives, delivering a minimum of 24 showings per year
- Develop and execute seasonal sales strategies tailored to each brand partner’s customer base and commercial objectives
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Partner closely with the Head of Global Wholesale on strategy, seasonal planning and budget management
Range & Product
- Collaborate closely with the Design team on product ranging and seasonal buy decisions for each account
- Obtain and manage option plans from domestic buying teams, communicating these to Design and Merchandise to inform ranging, product development and seasonal planning
- Communicate range changes, updates and product information clearly and promptly to brand partners
- Support product selection aligned to each partner's customer profile, price architecture and trading environment
Partner Platform & Digital
- Manage partner platform enrichment end-to-end, including uploading and maintaining accurate product content, imagery and attributes on domestic portals
- Ensure all product listings meet each partner's content standards and are live and accurate ahead of key trading periods
Orders & Production Handover
- Manage the full sales order entry process, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Coordinate handover of confirmed orders to the Production and Operations teams, ensuring all necessary information is captured and communicated
- Proactively manage any order amendments, range changes or cancellations and communicate these effectively to all relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with the Wholesale Operations Lead on the communication of late deliveries and order changes to brand partners, ensuring transparency and minimising disruption
Showings & Events
- Plan, coordinate and execute wholesale showings and buy appointments across brand partners
- Manage the critical path for each showing, including venue booking, scheduling, model bookings, styling and catering
- Oversee all sample management, including tracking, preparation and presentation of collections to ensure each showing reflects the highest brand standards
- Ensure each showing delivers a premium, on-brand experience that clearly communicates Aje’s brand storytelling, design direction and commercial priorities
- Prepare and distribute all relevant materials including look books, line sheets and order forms
- Provide detailed buyer product feedback to Design and Merchandise teams following every showing, capturing reactions, preferences and commercial insights to inform future ranging decisions
About You
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a wholesale sales, account management or sales role within the fashion or lifestyle industry
- Proven track record of managing major retail accounts and delivering against sales targets
- Strong understanding of the Australian retail landscape
- Experience working with partner portals and digital content management platforms
- Proficiency in sales order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
