Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8 ($113,574 - $125,720 pa), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

As a Business Support Coordinator, you will be supporting the efficiency and effective functioning of the Strategic Procurement allocations process, through the provision of day-to-day high-level coordination, monitoring and reporting support to the Senior Executive Officer, Managers and Executive Director, Strategic Procurement.

What you’ll do

As part of the Procurement Office team within Strategic Procurement, you will be overseeing the efficiency of the office to ensure high quality responses to requests for advice and briefing materials are provided in a timely manner.

You will also be responsible for managing the workflow of allocations, collating responses, and supporting the Business Unit to achieve its goals by developing and maintaining efficient and effective administrative systems.

Effective procurement is fundamental to Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) by enabling the delivery of programs, goods, and services that support a safe, just, and inclusive NSW. We aim to support government objectives and advance our strategic priorities by prioritising innovative, local, and socially just suppliers, whilst considering the best value.

We recognise that collaborating with our stakeholders and internal teams is essential to successfully delivering business needs. We commit to providing expert advice and trusted business partnerships, to deliver strategic services that achieve DCJ outcomes and government priorities in an efficient and sustainable manner.

The Business Support Coordinator will be supporting the efficiencies and effectiveness of the Strategic Procurement Team.

It is essential that the candidate has high organisational skills, attention to detail and regularly takes initiative to enhance process and prioritise tasks.
