The Role & Project

MACA are seeking experienced Maintenance Superintendents to join our team at the Dingo Range Gold Project working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.

The Dingo Range Gold Project developed by Emerald Resources is a 1.41 million ounce greenfield gold asset located in Western Australia’s North Laverton region, representing one of the state’s emerging gold developments.

Key result areas include:

Lead maintenance personnel, identify areas of improvement and provide coaching and development strategies.
Oversee scheduled maintenance and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce field breakdowns.
Monitor equipment performance to ensure optimal utilisation and limit down time.
Monitor parts and equipment requirements.
Commitment, respect and compliance to the MACA health, safety and environmental practices.
Actively participates and contributes to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the supervision and management of maintenance personnel in an open pit mining environment.
Proven experience in ensuring our mobile plant and equipment is maintained to a high safety, productive and reliable standard in a timely manner.
Trade qualification.
Sound knowledge of safe mining and earthmoving practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must, allowing you to build relationships across the team and departments.
Statutory Supervisor S26 certificate.
Current Australian driver’s licence.
A National Police Clearance within 12 months of currency.
