About the role:
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor will lead and coordinate mobile maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient mining operations. You will provide supervision, technical guidance, and leadership to maintenance crews while promoting a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement.
This position is offered on an even time 2:2 roster, FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie, day shift only. This is an additional supervisory role within the mobile maintenance team, working in a back-to-back arrangement with the alternate Maintenance Supervisor.
Key responsibilities:

Lead and supervise mobile maintenance crews to achieve planned maintenance and operational targets.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and legislative requirements.
- Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance activities, resources, and priorities.
- Monitor work quality, address issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
- Work closely with coordinators to ensure parts availability for scheduled and breakdown maintenance.
- Complete and review compliance documentation and reports.
- Participate in daily planning meetings and provide updates on maintenance activities and outcomes.
Requirements:

Trade Certificate in Mobile Plant Technology (Trade Cert III in Engineering) or similar
- Schedule 26
- Current unrestricted Western Australia HR Class Driver’s Licence
- Extensive knowledge of mobile plant equipment most notably Komatsu trucks, excavators and dozers
- Detailed knowledge of mining operations and safety regulations.
- Supervising skills, unique to small teams and small sites.
- National police clearance.
- Can do attitude and ability to have critical conversations with staff and management.
