Working a 15:6 FIFO roster ex Perth, you’ll take a hands-on leadership role in the safe and productive delivery of significant bulk earthworks and civil construction activities.
We’re interested in speaking with experienced Supervisors through to Senior Supervisors, with the level of appointment determined by your experience and capability. Strong bulk earthworks experience will be key, along with the ability to lead crews, drive production and deliver work safely to program.

About the role
Working closely with the Superintendent and broader project team, you will lead and coordinate construction crews to safely deliver assigned work fronts in accordance with the project program, specifications and productivity targets.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of people, plant, subcontractors and construction activities, with a strong focus on bulk earthworks production, safety and efficient utilisation of resources.
For our Senior Supervisors, the role will carry greater responsibility across planning, short-term programming, productivity and cost performance, as well as supporting the broader management of project activities.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and supervise crews delivering bulk earthworks and civil construction activities
- Coordinate daily work fronts, labour, plant, equipment and subcontractors
- Ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with project specifications, program and quality requirements
- Drive daily production and monitor productivity against project targets
- Plan upcoming works and ensure crews have the resources and information required to perform effectively
- Identify construction constraints and work with the project team to resolve issues and maintain production
- Provide clear direction to Foremen, Leading Hands, Operators and Construction Workers
- Monitor plant utilisation and work closely with operations and maintenance teams to maximise productivity
- Conduct and participate in pre-starts, toolbox meetings and other site safety activities
- Ensure project HSEQ requirements are understood and implemented across work fronts
- Monitor subcontractor performance and coordinate subcontracted works where required
- Maintain accurate daily records and provide timely information to the Superintendent and project team
- Build positive working relationships with the client, subcontractors and other project stakeholders
Your skills and experience
- Current experience working as a Civil Supervisor or Senior Supervisor on major civil construction, mining or resources projects
- Strong bulk earthworks experience is essential
- Previous tailings storage facility (TSF), mining infrastructure or similar bulk earthworks project experience will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience supervising construction crews and heavy mobile plant operations
- Strong understanding of earthworks production, productivity and efficient plant utilisation
- Proven ability to plan and coordinate labour, plant and construction activities across active work fronts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to set clear expectations and drive performance
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and environmental performance
- Sound understanding of construction drawings, specifications and methodologies
- Previous Pilbara and FIFO project experience will be highly regarded
- Construction White Card
- Valid C Class driver’s licence, with HR licence highly regarded
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction, Frontline Management or equivalent will be highly regarded
