About the role

Hylin West Leederville is seeking an experienced Bar/Cafe Chef to join our team in West Leederville. As a full-time Bar/Cafe Chef, you will play a vital role in crafting and preparing high-quality food offerings that delight our customers and align with our café's brand and flavour profile.

This full-time position requires availability for some evening and night shifts.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and execute a variety of dishes for the café and bar
Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items
Assist in the training and supervision of kitchen staff
Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed
Contribute to a positive and productive kitchen environment
Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef in a café, restaurant, or similar food service establishment
Strong working knowledge of food preparation, plating, and food safety best practices
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Creative flair and passion for developing new menu items
