AAII PTY LTD is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in East Victoria Park, WA 6101. This is a full-time position that offers the perfect opportunity to lead a dynamic restaurant environment and make a real impact on our guests' experiences. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, from staff management and financial performance to customer service excellence and quality control. This role is pivotal to maintaining our reputation as a premier hospitality destination, and you will play a key part in driving our business success and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management
- Leading, training, and motivating a team of restaurant staff to ensure consistent service quality and a positive work environment
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food handling and hygiene standards
- Maintaining stock levels of beverages, food items, and supplies, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
- Managing the restaurant budget, controlling costs, and working towards financial targets and profitability goals
- Creating, costing, and updating menus in consultation with Chefs and kitchen staff to align with seasonal offerings and customer preferences
- Delivering outstanding customer service and addressing any customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly
- Scheduling staff shifts, managing payroll, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels during peak and off-peak periods
- Monitoring and analyzing sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing initiatives to boost revenue
- Maintaining equipment and facilities to a high standard, arranging maintenance when necessary
- Liaising with senior management and other departments to ensure alignment with company objectives
What we're looking for
- Proven experience of minimum 2-3 years as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar hospitality management role, ideally within a busy café or restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Sound financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and P&L management
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food standards, and restaurant compliance requirements
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with restaurant management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and management
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering excellence
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
