Little Zak’s Academy is looking for an exceptional leader to step into our 115-place service in Ropes Crossing.

The centre has experienced its ups and downs, and we are now looking for someone who can step in, take the lead and set a clear direction for the future.

This is an opportunity for a confident leader who enjoys building teams, creating stability and turning challenges into positive change.

You will have the autonomy, support and resources to lead your team, rebuild momentum and shape the service for long-term success.

This is more than maintaining an established centre. It is an opportunity to make your mark.

You will have:

Real ownership of your centre, including involvement in budgeting and key business decisions
The autonomy to make decisions that support your team, children, families and service outcomes

About the Role

As Senior Centre Director, you will be responsible for the overall performance and success of the service. Your focus will be on developing strong leaders, building a positive team culture, maintaining high-quality educational practices, and ensuring exceptional experiences for children and families.

Building and maintaining a strong team culture
Lead and inspire a large team of educators and leaders
Build and maintain a strong, positive centre culture
Drive high-quality educational programs aligned with EYLF and NQS
Maintain strong relationships with families and the local community
Oversee compliance, occupancy, financial performance, and centre operations
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Quality Improvement Plans (QIP)
Fulfil the responsibilities of the Nominated Supervisor

You will be supported, but you will also be trusted to lead.

About You

We are looking for a leader who is confident taking ownership and knows how to bring people with them.

You will have:

An ACECQA-approved Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching qualification
Previous experience as a Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor
Strong leadership and people management skills
A sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS, National Regulations and compliance
The ability to build a strong team culture and develop educators
Commercial awareness and an understanding of occupancy and centre performance
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The confidence to make decisions and take accountability for the outcomes of your service
The resilience and leadership capability to step into a challenging environment and create positive change
