Help shape how one of the city's largest operational directorates connects with its community. Every day, residents, Councillors and stakeholders contact City Assets about the services that keep Blacktown City running. As the City Assets Customer Experience Improvement Officer, you improve how correspondence is managed, tracked and responded to across 8 operational teams.

In this role, you manage correspondence systems, monitor incoming requests and complaints, improve triage processes, and support teams to meet response targets. You review workflows, develop templates, identify process gaps, follow up outstanding actions and help ensure high-priority correspondence receives timely attention. You also prepare performance reports and customer experience insights for the Director City Assets.

Your work directly influences how people experience Council. By improving response quality, clarity and consistency, you help residents receive better service, support Councillors with constituent enquiries and make it easier for operational teams to manage customer interactions.

This role suits someone who is passionate about customer experience and enjoys solving problems, improving processes and working across multiple teams to achieve shared outcomes. You bring strong communication skills, experience managing correspondence or customer service processes, and the ability to analyse trends and identify practical improvements. You will join a supportive directorate, work closely with senior leaders and gain valuable experience in customer experience, reporting and business improvement while helping deliver better outcomes for a growing community.
