Senior Duty Manager / Assistant Manager (Part-Time)

H2O Café Restaurant – Narrabeen

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Duty Manager / Assistant Manager to join our team at H2O Café Restaurant.

This is a permanent part-time position for someone who is passionate about hospitality, customer service, and leading a team in a busy café and restaurant environment.

Availability Requirements

Applicants must be available:

Every Friday
Every Saturday
One additional weekday (negotiable based on availability)

Example:

Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
Wednesday, Friday & Saturday

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

Leading front-of-house operations
Supervising staff during service
Delivering exceptional customer service
Opening and closing procedures
Managing reservations and guest experience
Handling customer enquiries and complaints professionally
Assisting with staff training and development
Working closely with ownership to maintain high service standards
Supporting daily restaurant operations

Essential Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a:
Duty Manager
Assistant Manager
Restaurant Supervisor
Similar hospitality leadership role
Strong front-of-house experience
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, professional and well-presented
Strong understanding of hospitality operations
Ability to lead by example

Preferred

Local Australian candidates
Experience in cafés and restaurants
Knowledge of restaurant service standards
Experience with reservations and POS systems
