Day Program Coordinator

Assigned Guardian Angel Disability Services – Ravenhall, VIC

Part-Time | 2 Days per Week (Flexible Days)

About Us

Assigned Guardian Angel Disability Services is a growing NDIS provider committed to empowering people with disability to achieve their goals through person-centred supports. We are expanding our Day Program and are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Day Program Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations, promote the program and create an engaging environment for our participants.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for coordinating, marketing, administering and running the Day Program rooms while helping to grow the service.

About the Role

As our Day Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and daily operation of our Day Program. This includes planning activities, facilitating and running program rooms, supporting participants, promoting the service, completing administration and ensuring the program operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Day Program.
Facilitate and run daily activity rooms and group sessions, ensuring participants are actively engaged.
Set up, prepare and maintain activity rooms with the required equipment and resources.
Develop creative weekly and monthly activity schedules.
Supervise and support participants throughout daily activities.
Coordinate participant enrolments, orientations and attendance.
Liaise with participants, families, Support Coordinators, Plan Managers and allied health professionals.
Market and promote the Day Program through community networking, social media and local events.
Build relationships with hospitals, community organisations and referral partners.
Prepare service agreements, participant invoicing and NDIS billing.
Maintain accurate participant records and documentation.
Coordinate and support Day Program staff and volunteers.
Plan community outings, special events and workshops.
Monitor program quality and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Ensure the Day Program operates in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards, organisational policies and WHS requirements.

Is confident presenting, facilitating and running activity rooms independently.
Has excellent organisational and time management skills.
Is proactive, creative and able to think outside the box.
Has strong administration and computer skills.
Is confident with marketing, networking and building community relationships.
