As our Workshop Administration Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations—supporting our workshop team and ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to shape processes, drive efficiency, and make a real impact as we continue to grow.

We’re a close-knit, down-to-earth team with a strong passion for trucks and the transport industry. Based in Forrestfield, you’ll lead our administration function and play a key role in delivering high-quality service across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Charge: Oversee day-to-day administrative operations within the workshop
Streamline Processes: Develop and improve workflows to boost efficiency and performance
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a hardworking team
Coordinate Operations: Handle scheduling, invoicing, inventory, and daily workshop activities
Monitor Performance: Track budgets, resources, and KPIs to keep the business on target
Communication Hub: Ensure smooth information flow between workshop, operations, admin, and management
Parts Management: Order, track, and monitor parts and stock levels
Documentation: Maintain accurate records and workshop documentation
Inventory Control: Support stock management and ensure availability of parts

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and ready to lead in a dynamic workshop environment.

Proven leadership experience within an automotive workshop environment
Strong understanding of workshop operations and administration
Experience using FMP software (highly regarded)
Demonstrated ability to drive and manage KPIs
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to varied responsibilities
Passion for supporting and developing team members

Salary

$85,000 to $105,000 per year plus super. Min five years leadership experience within an automotive workshop environment to be eligible for the top salary range.
