Head of eCommerce

The opportunity to join one of Australia's biggest Retailers, to own, lead & drive the eCommerce & Digital function, leading a high performing team across eCommerce, Digital Marketing, CRM & Digital Graphic design.

The Role:

This role will lead, shape & deliver the end to end eCommerce & Digital strategy for a market-leading consumer goods business, across web optimisation, trade, Digital & Performance channels and CRM. You will drive online performance & growth for a well-loved brand, leading a highly-advanced team of 4 direct reports, to deliver cutting edge customer experience & drive new customer acquisition & retention.
This is a high impact role, working alongside the wider SLT of true Retail-traders, you'll be a change-maker, delivering strong analytics & insights and constantly looking at new ways of improvement.

Experience Needed & What You'll be Working On:

An extensive eCommerce & Digital Leadership background, driving & delivering strategic change across the roadmap
A solid background in delivering strong online performance, increasing uplift across all key metrics, but particularly CVR, traffic & online revenue
Experience in the Retail, Consumer & Apparel sectors being hugely advantageous, especially in omni-channel businesses
Strong leadership experience, managing & leading teams across all areas of the Digital mix, mentoring both junior and senior team members from Coordinator, through to Manager
Solid cross-functional working style, partnering closely to wider teams across Brand, Marketing, Merchandise, Retail & Product to drive a truly cohesive customer experience
Solid analytical background, presenting key insights & trends to the wider SLT, leading trade meetings & mentoring a team of eCommerce Executives to do the same
Previous experience in owning the full CRO strategy, delivering feature enhancements projects & new development projects
In-depth experience across Shopify, Emarsys, BigCommerce, SFCC or similar, and the ability to continuously analyse the stack and integrate new improvements
