We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the overall management of our Chatswood venue and support the continued growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct and coordinate the overall operations of the venue.
- Develop, implement and review operational policies, procedures and service standards.
- Lead and supervise operational staff, including recruitment, training, rostering and performance management.
- Manage operational budgets, labour costs and financial performance.
- Monitor business performance and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee customer service standards and resolve complex operational and customer issues.
- Coordinate all operational functions including admissions, café operations, retail sales, party services, venue presentation and facility maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements and other regulatory obligations.
- Manage supplier and contractor relationships and oversee procurement activities.
- Prepare operational reports and support business planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements
- AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Hospitality or a related field, or equivalent relevant management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing the operations of a hospitality, retail or service-based business.
- Strong leadership, organisational and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple operational functions in a fast-paced environment.
