Radical Recruitment is building something special and are proud to partner with a highly regarded Approved Provider to appoint an exceptional Centre Director for a brand new, purpose-built early learning centre in the heart of Box Hill / Gables NSW. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a new service from day one, shaping its culture, building occupancy, and becoming a trusted leader within a growing community.

Your Opportunity

This is more than a leadership role, it’s your chance to build something from the ground up. As Centre Director, you will operate in a highly autonomous capacity, with the full backing of a supportive, experienced Approved Provider. You’ll lead the service’s success by driving enrolments, establishing strong community connections, and creating a high-quality educational environment families trust.

Your Mission

You will be responsible for establishing and leading a thriving early learning service by:

Leading the overall operation of the centre, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF).
Creating a strong, positive team culture aligned with the service’s values.
Recruiting, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team.
Overseeing budgets, rostering, and day-to-day centre operations.
Driving enrolments and occupancy growth through strategic marketing and local engagement.
Building strong relationships with families, local schools, and community groups.
Positioning the centre as a trusted and valued part of The box hill / Gables community.
Acting as the face of the centre, welcoming families and fostering long-term relationships.
Ensuring high-quality delivery of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Embedding best practice and driving continuous quality improvement.
Preparing for and maintaining strong outcomes against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
Supporting educators in delivering meaningful, engaging learning programs.

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience as a Centre Director or experienced Assistant Director ready to step up.
Strong understanding of NQF, EYLF, and NQS.
Demonstrated ability to build occupancy and engage with local communities.
A confident, approachable leadership style with excellent communication skills.
A passion for delivering high-quality early education and care.
Relevant Early Childhood qualification (Diploma or Bachelor level preferred).
