Full Job Description

Part-Time Bookkeeper (2 Days Per Week)

Location: Banksmeadow, NSW
Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time (2 Days Per Week)

We are seeking an experienced, reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping experience and accounting knowledge who enjoys working in a small business environment and taking ownership of the day-to-day financial operations.

Working autonomously, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts using Xero, processing payroll, preparing and submitting BAS information, completing reconciliations, and providing occasional administrative support, including preparing quotes and invoices.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records using Xero.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Complete bank, credit card and account reconciliations.
Process weekly payroll and maintain payroll records.
Prepare and lodge BAS and assist with other ATO compliance requirements.
Prepare financial reports for management.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Provide general administrative support when required.

About You

Strong experience using Xero (essential).
Experience processing payroll, BAS, reconciliations and financial reporting.
Accounting qualifications highly regarded.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills with a proactive and professional attitude.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and maintain strict confidentiality.
