The Heater Man and Rozelle Plumbing are well established trade businesses servicing local homes and businesses in the inner west.
We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper who will become a key part of the team. Working directly with the principal the ideal candidate will enjoy the recording of daily financial transactions across our multi-entities, problem solving while continuing to hone their skills within a growing innovative business.
About The Role
To provide comprehensive accounts administration support to professional accounting staff and management, to manage associated administration with exceptional problem solving skills while working towards common company goals with our tight-knit team.
Duties
- Manage all daily banking duties and reconciliations
- Purchasing & Stock control
- Reconciling credit cards
- Staff Wages, Superannuation and incentives
- Prepare and process weekly and monthly supplier payments
- Manage all AR/AP queries, internal and with suppliers
- Liaising with department managers and team leaders
- Update/maintain any Xero employee information
- Maintain vendor accounts ensuring no over charges and frictionless relationships with supplier contacts
- Assisting with month end reporting
- Reconciling credit cards
- Developing, implementing new systems for each of our businesses

Qualifications & Experience
- Bookkeeping Cert IV
- Knowledge of the plumbing industry a benefit (not essential)
- Knowledge of Accounts is essential
- Knowledge of Payroll is essential
Experience:
- Bookkeeping experience is essential
- Xero accounts and payroll
- Experience with scheduling software Service M8 is highly regarded
