Job description:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper to join our busy medical practice on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Xero/MYOB bookkeeping
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Supplier invoice processing and accounts payable
- BAS preparation and superannuation processing
- Fortnightly payroll processing, STP reporting, and EOFY finalisation
- Medicare and DVA reconciliations
- Processing doctor RCTIs
- Generating reports from Best Practice/PracSoft
- General bookkeeping and financial administration support
- Days & Hours: Monday & Wednesday | Approx. 18 hours per week (part-time)
About You
- Previous bookkeeping experience (medical practice experience highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge of Xero and/or MYOB
- Experience with payroll, STP, BAS, and reconciliations
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage deadlines efficiently
- Experience with Best Practice or PracSoft is advantageous
