About the Role
You’ll play a key role in ensuring our day-to-day financial operations run smoothly while supporting management with accurate reporting and financial administration.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and supplier statements
- Prepare invoices and follow up outstanding customer payments
- Assist with payroll processing
- Prepare and assist with BAS, GST, and other compliance requirements
- Complete month-end reconciliations and financial reporting
- Prepare reports for management and external accountants
- Maintain organised financial records and documentation
- Liaise professionally with suppliers, customers, and external accountants
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies
- Provide general administrative support to the management team when required
About You
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, trustworthy, and enjoys taking ownership of their work.
You will ideally have:
- Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience
- A sound understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Experience using Xero (preferred), MYOB, or QuickBooks
- Strong Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a professional manner
- A high level of integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- A positive attitude with a willingness to support the wider team
- A proven track record of delivering accurate financial work and meeting deadlines
- Previous experience in the automotive industry will be highly regarded. Experience working with automotive suppliers, inventory, workshops, dealerships, or parts businesses is an advantage.
Position Details
- Part-Time: Approximately 25 hours per week
- Flexible working arrangements available
- Based in Silverwater, NSW
- Immediate start available for the right candidate
